What is the GAC?

CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference is one of the largest conferences in the credit union industry.

Each year, hundreds of some of the brightest and most influential minds in our industry descend on Washington DC to network with peers, hear from key legislative and political leaders, and experience a variety of sessions on credit unions' hot issues.

Crash?

Yup. Crash. We're building our own subversive conference for credit union professionals under 30 around the proper conference.

In addition to participating in GAC activities that do not require registration (like Wednesday's Capitol Hill visits), we'll have conversation sessions lead by industry thought leaders and boatloads of networking opportunities.

Will we be able to go to the actual GAC?

CUNA is graciously offering up to 20 scholarship passes to the full GAC event for under-30 CUNA-affiliated CU folks. Scholarships will be awarded based on an application, which I will link to as soon as it's online. 

The Crash agenda will be built so that it almost never conflicts with actual GAC events, that way those of you with scholarships won't have to choose which events to go to. You can do both.
